1. The plans
FinTracker Premium will be offered as an auto-renewing subscription:
- Monthly: USD 4.99 per month.
- Annual: USD 39.99 per year.
- Free trial: 7 days, once per Apple Account.
Prices may vary by country and currency. The price shown on the App Store purchase screen at the moment you subscribe is the one that applies — always trust that screen over this page.
2. Billing through Apple
Premium is billed by Apple to your Apple Account — we never see your card details. Payment is charged when you confirm the purchase (or when the free trial ends).
The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple charges the renewal within 24 hours before the new period begins.
3. Cancelling
You can cancel anytime in your App Store settings: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → FinTracker. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Premium until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s refund policies — you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
4. The free tier stays useful
Manual transaction tracking, budgets, goals, and streaks are never paywalled. If you never subscribe, FinTracker keeps working.
The free tier also includes a taste of the AI features — currently 3 Bao chat messages and 5 voice entries per month.
5. Fair use of AI features
Premium includes generous AI usage — Bao chat, voice logging, and weekly insights — within fair-use limits that exist to keep costs sane and the service healthy for everyone. Usage is counted against an anonymous device identifier, as described in the Privacy Policy. If you hit a limit in normal personal use, tell us — that’s a bug in the limit, not in you.
6. Changes
If a price changes, Apple notifies you in advance and, where required, asks for your consent before the new price applies. We’ll also update this page and its "last updated" date before any change takes effect.
